One of the first things you learn in pottery is a pinch pot. It's amazing what you can make out of the humble little pinch pot, either on it's own or joining 2 together. That's what we are going to do, and turn it into a salt Pig. As the name of the workshop suggests, we don't have to limit it to a pig, use your creative imagination and we can turn it into whatever your into at the moment. Me, I like a salt frog with a dolphin spoon. I will show you when you get here. They are a lot of fun to make, easy with just a little bit of a challenge and it will go for 2 hours. Your pottery needs to completely dry out before they are placed in the kiln for its first firing, joining pots together can take a little longer than most, needs to be slowly dried so there are no cracks where it is joined, I then apply glaze and fire it again, so can take anywhere up to 3 to 4 weeks before it is ready to go home. Cost is $80 per person
