This 2 hour hand building Wine & Dine (the wine is optional) workshop is the beginning of making your own dinner set. Depending on how many pieces you want will determine how many classes you will need. This will be discussed on the first night. Or book the whole family in on one night and you all get to make your own side plate and dinner plate. No experience is need, once I teach you how to make a perfectly even slab and bring the edges up to create the rim it's very easy to copy me. Best way to escape our minds and stop the continual dialogue in our heads. And you get to make something fabulous. If you want to make a compete 18pc dinner set you will need to book another 3 classes which will include glazing. The clay is stoneware and the glazes are food safe which means they are functional ware to be eaten off and they can go in the dishwasher, microwave and oven. Pottery needs to be completely dry before it is bisque fired I will then apply the glaze and its is fired again, so it can take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks to be ready to pick up.
