I started playing with clay when I was 8 and we moved to a little town on the north coast called Broomshead and then I went to high school and learnt to throw on the wheel when I was 12 years old. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that a seed that was planted in high school would turn into one of my great loves in life and would become my everyday way of life. The Cromer Kids Clay Club is where I get to teach you everything I learnt from the very beginning. You will get to try all the different fundamental techniques of making pottery either by hand or on the wheel, surface treatment and glazing. Each week will be a different workshop that will be posted on Instagram and Facebook on the Monday of each week to give you plenty of time to save your spot. All clay and glazes are functional and can go in the dishwasher and microwave. You do not take the pot home straight away as it needs to be fired twice and have glaze applied. It can take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks before they will be ready to go home. Book 1 class - Cost $60 per workshop Book 4 classes - Cost $50 per workshop Book 8 classes - Cost $45 per workshop NB: Please be sure of your booking as there are no refunds and no credits.
